I know there has been a lot of questions about my grading policy. I listed the grading percentage below to make it more clear. All assignments counts for something. I just added the breakdown of each assignment types and their point values. I hope it is all covered.
For all subjects (except math)
45% – tests/quiz
25% – classwork
20% – homework
10% – participation
Math 5/4
70% – test
30% – homework
Assignments grading policy:
Tests:
Religion – chapter 20 pts.; unit 40 pts.
Math – each 100 pts.
Reading – story 40 pts.
Spelling – 25 pts.
Social Studies – 75-80 pts.
Science – 30-40 pts.
Quizzes: points based on number of questions – 1 pts each.
Classwork:
All subjects – textbook questions 5 pts.; workbook questions 5pts.; drawing assignments 10 pts.; special projects 100 pts.; half page essays 20 pts.; full page essays 40 pts.; special end of unit essays 100 pts.
Homework:
All subjects - each assignment is 5 pts.
